Our group enjoyed our stay in Buckhorn. Marcelo accommodated our requests and responded in a timely fashion to our questions. During our stay, there was an issue with very low water pressure but Marcelo told us that it was probably due to a recent power outage and some pumps. He said he would be looking into the matter asap.
Beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer! Everything about it was perfect. Thanks again Marcelo!
This cottage was top notch. Everything about it, the location, size, cleanliness, and the room. The hosts are wonderful to deal with and very quick at getting back to you. They make renting very easy. I would recommend this cottage to any large family that is looking for comfort in the Kawartha area. The Bullock Family of 13.
Great house at a great location; hosts are attentive and responsive; clean and open.
The house is on a beautiful lake and comes with kayaks to enjoy it. Very comfortable and spacious home.
Marcelo’s cabin is absolutely stunning. The high ceilings, wood panelled walls and decor made us feel at-home (but better!). The beds are comfortable and we slept well in the country air. The lake was great for fishing and we enjoyed paddling out to the islands in the canoes and kayaks. The place is very well appointed in every way! We had a peaceful and serene stay. We arranged in advance for Gary, the caretaker to prepare our meals and were beyond pleased with his offering. The food was fresh and delicious but also healthy with several different salads. His carrot cake is stunning. Gary is absolutely delightful and so helpful. He directed us to some good hikes and outings too. We will be back!
Beautiful home is exactly like in the pictures. Amazing lake views and the cottage was clean and beautiful. Sauna wasn't working but thats ok! We had a beautiful 3 days there. The beautiful fireplace kept us warm and cozy the raining day. Thanks Again !!!
