About the location:
Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive, nestled between the majestic mountains and the St. Lawrence River, is a true natural setting. The house is located in a vast and picturesque agricultural estate offering a breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding mountains. This privileged location allows you to enjoy the tranquility and calm of nature, while being close to several tourist and cultural activities in Charlevoix. In the summer, explore the hiking and cycling trails or discover the region by kayak. In the winter, take advantage of the snow to go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or simply savor the winter beauty of the landscapes.

Bedroom 1 (on the ground floor): Double bed, connected to a bathroom with shower. This intimate and comfortable place is perfect to relax after a day of activities.
Bedroom 2, 3, 4 and 5 (on the 2nd floor): Each equipped with a double bed, the rooms offer an authentic decor with period elements. In addition, each room offers a different view of the surrounding nature.
Bathroom 1 (on the ground floor): Modern shower combined with bedroom 1.
Bathroom 2 (on the 2nd floor): Bathtub only, offering a moment of relaxation after a day in the great outdoors.

The properties are in accordance with the intended use, without apparent damage and are checked after each stay. It is the Guest's responsibility to note any apparent defect in the properties and to notify the Host as soon as he becomes aware of it during his stay.
The Guest acknowledges that the occupancy of the property is limited to the number of person(s) and that animals are prohibited, upon reservation for the entire duration of the stay. The Guest agrees to pay an additional sum of twenty-five ($25.00) per additional person and two hundred and fifty ($250.00) penalty per prohibited animal.
The Guest is required to respect the regular authorized hours (arrival at 3:00 PM, departure at 10:00 AM) for his stay. In the event that the Guest wishes an early arrival or a late departure, the Guest must therefore make a prior written request, pay the additional fees ($30.00 per additional hour) and that the request is accepted in writing by the host.
The host cannot be held responsible for:
Any damage, of any nature whatsoever, suffered by the Guest and/or by the persons to whom he allows access to the property arising in any way from the property or their use.
Any damage, loss or theft of the personal effects of the Guest and/or those to whom he allows access. In the event of an oversight, the Guest will have to pay the service and shipping costs to recover the forgotten item.
Any unforeseen interruption of electricity, running water, gas and/or septic system services that may occur during the stay, unless due to fault on his part.
By renting this house, the guest and the people to whom he allows access accept the risks associated with their stay in the property.
The guest agrees to respect the community and the neighbors.
The wood stove is not usable, it is only on site as decoration. A penalty of three hundred ($300.00) will be charged if this rule is broken. In addition, if you use it, you take full responsibility for any potential damage caused by fire.
IN WINTER (Between November 1st and April 30th): Accessibility is difficult and access with a 4x4 car equipped with winter tires is mandatory.
Only one car is allowed in the parking lot. You are welcome to come to the area with as many cars as you wish, but you will be responsible for finding parking outside the property for the additional cars.

In no case is the host responsible for finding additional parking, and for anything that may happen in these parking lots.
The snow plow will come in a reasonable time when it snows and the path will be cleared. However, even when it does not snow, there may be accumulations of snow in the path due to the wind in the fields.
IN SUMMER (May 1st to October 31st): There are no restrictions on access, and more than one car is allowed, you must only not block the path.
