Built in 2010, this charming and state of the art, solar powered and battery pack operated home is fully equipped and truly one of a kind! Located directly on lake De La Grange, in the heart of the Laurentian mountains and only 45 min away from the town of Mont-Tremblant, this beautiful cottage will appeal to you at first sight!
The user-friendly kitchen is fully equipped for your well-being during your stay. It includes a large fridge, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, pots and pans, a coffee machine a toaster, utensils and everything you need to prepare a good meals with.
All 3 bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds and soft, fresh linens. Two bedrooms have queen size bed and one with a double sized mattress.
The living room includes a Smart TV with access to NETFLIX and YouTube. There is a speaker station as well to hook up your phone, tablet or computer. HIGH-SPEED INTERNET ACCESS ALSO OFFERED.
The bathroom includes a large bath and shower. There is also a washer and dryer in the washroom on the lower level.
A magnificent gas fireplace is located in the living room, free for you to use to warm up the atmosphere and put a smile on everyone's face during the cold winter evenings.Home access

Casa Giallo is our lakefront retreat and our home. Thank you for caring for it as much as we do and respecting its quietness. We ask you to please leave the house in the same condition it was left to you. By doing so, you will allow us to continue sharing it with the Airbnb community!
The max number of guests permitted by the municipality (*1) for our cottage is 6 people. Each guest arriving at the cottage must be declared. Only the number of guests on the reservation are allowed to stay in the cottage. A fine of $200 per person per day will be surcharged to the reservation if undeclared guests are in the cottage.
Check-in is 4PM and checkout 11AM.
Whenever possible, it is our pleasure to make special arrangements for early arrival or late check outs. Nevertheless, as this is a busy time, we ask that you vacate the unit and parking promptly by 11 am unless agreed otherwise in advance. Our housekeeping team will charge us a fee if they cannot access our unit by 11:15 and might also have to come back at the end of the day, which would have a great impact on our arriving guests. Therefore late departures may incur a fine up to 250 $ if check out has not been completed by 11:15. We thank you in advance for your cooperation in offering our arriving guests a timely check-in.
Quiet hours between 10PM and 8AM. Exterior noise is prohibited by the Amherst Municipality between these hours. A complaint from neighbors may result in a finding of offense by the Sureté du Québec and the municipality.
All footwear (including ski boots) are to be taken off in the vestibule. Ensure to walk around the house in socks or slippers. Any floor damage caused by shoes being worn inside the cottage by the guests will incur a fine starting at $250.
Animals of any nature (dogs, cats, etc) are not allowed on the property.
Absolutely NO FOOD & BEVERAGES in bedrooms. Failure to do so will result in a fine of $250.
Parties are strictly prohibited (*2). Please, avoid making noise after 10pm, out of respect, it's a peaceful retreat. In case of excessive noise, without giving notice, guests will be evicted without any compensation.
We are using the system Noise Aware to ensure the tranquility of our retreat and guarantee a piece of mind for our neighbours. This system is only recording the noise level and DOES NOT record anything at anytime.
All types of smoking, including electronic, is strictly prohibited inside our home. Extra charges, starting at 250 $, will be incurred for damages, smoke scent and unusual cleaning fees.
Smoking outside on the property is allowed but no cigarette or any kind of filters are to be thrown on the ground anywhere on the property. Please use the available ashtrays. Failure to do so will result in a fine of 250 $.
The municipal by-law (*3) forbids fireworks, firecrackers and unclosed fire pits for security reasons and for the protection of everyone. Failure to do so will result in a $500 fine.
For everyone's safety, please do not leave any garbage, food or liquid outside on the property as this can attract wild animals and insects to the cottage, as well as our neighbours properties. Please ensure to take out your garbage regularly in the appropriate bins.
Camping and tents are strictly prohibited on the property.
If you use the BBQ, you must clean it, failure to do so will result in a 100$ fine. The use of the BBQ is allowed between May and October only.
All perishables must be removed from the home (including fridge) at check out, failure to do so will result in a $25 fee.
Please ensure at check out to leave all towels in the upstairs bathtub. Please make sure all the used dishes are loaded in the dishwasher upon departure.
The fireplace is strictly used as decoration and is not to be used as a fireplace. Failure to do so will result in guests being evicted without compensation.
The decision to rent accommodations and use of all facilities / appliances / boats/ BBQ, are entirely at the renter's risk. No responsibility can be accepted by the house owners for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the renter or his/her guests' personal property. In case of an uncontrollable situation (power failure, water shortage, sewers failure, phone interruption, spa failure), no refund will be processed.
