    Other things to know

Please NOTE that as mentioned in the description above the distance from our house is just 650m to the metro station. This short disctance has a max. SLOPE of 12% on the first 300metres, as we are living on a beautiful hillside above the city. So if you are not arriving by car but with luggage, it recommend to take a taxi on your first day. Please do not book if the SLOPE poses any inconvenience for you. Thank you.

Thank you. When you return home from your day in town and use the train (either line S1 or S2) to our Station Peu del Funicular, make sure not to enter the first wagon in the train's direction of travel. As the Peu train station was originally constructed for stream trains and opened in 1906, the length of the platforms remains quite short. So the first wagon stops right in front of it and you might be in a rush to leave the train.

Guests will be able to use the whole studio for themselves as well as the whole garden. The garden is common area.

You can catch a train (either line S1 or S2) every ten minutes. From Peu de Funicular you can also take the 700m cable car ride up to the picturesque village of "Vallvidrera" on your way to the Tibidabo mountain or just to the supermarket. Please don’t hesitate to ask me for fresh towels whenever you need them.

If the trash bag is full you can leave them in the containers at the crossroad or leave them in front of your door. Then I will dispose them. You will find new bags for the trash bin under the kitchen sink.

We are living in an area with scarcity of water. Please help to protect the environment by saving water!

Please make sure that you air our the room at least once a day for about 20 minutes or keep humidity in your room below 70%.

When you leave the house, you can leave the kitchen windows open to air out the room (as they have bars). All other windows should be closed during your absence to keep your stuff save.

After having a shower please do not forget to collect your hair from the drain grate.

Tobias is a very generous and considerate host. Nice quiet place with beautiful views. Easy to get downtown via the train. I thought it was a really nice walk through the hills to get to the train station! Overall great way to experience Barcelona.
WOW! Where to begin? Tobias couldn’t personally be there to receive me, so he put me in touch with his lovely girlfriend Corinna - and even wrote me a little something to show the taxi driver when I arrived (given that I don’t speak Catalan or very good Spanish). His place is about a 20 min tram ride from inner city Barcelona, right on the edge of the national park - the trailhead is literally two houses up the street. Beautiful view, private little home underneath their house for personal space, and everything you could possibly need - shower, kitchen, wifi, cozy bed, and a great view on top of it all. Highly recommend.
The house is small, good for a couple. The walk up is a little hard there a steep hill but the view is worth it! Also very close to the metro station. It’s about a 20 minute train ride to city center so keep that in mind
Wow! If you want a peaceful space on the edge of Barcelona and be able to get into all the big city action in 15 minutes this is the place for you. Situated on the edge of Parque de Collserola, we walked to the amazing Tibidabo, saw wild boars outside the walls of the home and enjoyed food/wine in the spacious courtyard. A quick walk down the hill puts you a few minutes from all the sights of Barcelona. The space was small but well designed. The hospitality from hosts was superior. Highly recommend this place as your next jumping off point for Barcelona!
This place had become my home for eight days and I have enjoyed every bit of it. From the breathtaking views every morning and night before I entered my room. The area was a perfect way to end a long day of touristic activities as it's nestled on the hillside of a mountain. The amenities were more than adequate and Jarrod was the best host I've ever met at an AirBnb. We got along so well, we actually spent some time together in the city over meals and other activities. He was stellar in responding to any questions and advice I requested as well. I will definitely be coming back to visit! Thanks so much!
Tobias' home is absolutely breathtaking! We enjoyed the sunrises on one side and the sunsets in the other. He was out of town but had a lovely man house sitting for him who took great care of us. One word of caution, if you will be staying at the house without a car or motorcycle, the metro is down a long steep hill and coming up at the end of the day is a chore. Otherwise, great location, views, hosts and home!
The hill is not only steep, but extremely long with several turns. The host was unavailable and had a house sitter available who was unable to tell me how to get to the nearby store that was in the description so I could get groceries for myself and my daughter. She did, however, provide us with pasta and sauce for one day. Overall, this location is far from the city and public transportation is impractical if you have luggage. Plan on taking taxis back and forth, and be aware uber does not reach this location. Additionally, the bathroom window was left open before we arrived and on the second day the shower had two worms in it. Very disappointing, especially considering other positive reviews.
