Bedrooms:
Our [Blocked by WeChalet] house features a primary bedroom with a king bed and luxury memory foam mattress. The ensuite includes double vanities, with a unique touch of elegance with its light-up faucets that display the water temperature in corresponding colors. You can indulge in a soothing shower experience while enjoying breathtaking views of the canyons and mountains through the walk-in shower. There are two additional guest bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with 2 full-size beds, all equipped with memory foam mattresses. The second bathroom offers a full jetted tub/shower combo with two vanities. For extra guests, there is a comfortable queen-size sleeper sofa.
Kitchen:
Our kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a microwave and dishwasher. It is equipped with high-quality knives, frying pans, and pots. Coffee lovers can enjoy both a French press and drip coffee maker. We provide wine glasses for your enjoyment. Additionally, there is an outdoor grill available for your use.
“Spool”:
Our house boasts a unique custom built-in "spool" that serves as both a refreshing soaking pool and a heated hot tub. The "spool" measures 135" in length, 61" in width, and reaches a depth of 60" at its deepest part. It features comfortable benches for relaxation and is equipped with invigorating jets and a soothing light. If desired, let us know if you would like it heated and we can turn it on for your stay, allowing you to enjoy a warm and rejuvenating experience in the "spool". We always offer FREE heating for the spool!

The "spool" is situated on a secure and enclosed patio, surrounded by a fenced area that includes a gate with a lock, separating it from the rest of the yard. Access to the "spool" is limited to the interior of the house, specifically through two slider doors, both equipped with locks. This design ensures privacy and provides an additional layer of safety. You can enjoy the "spool" with peace of mind, knowing that it can only be accessed from inside the house through securely locked entry points. For the safety of children and pets, it is important to note that they should never be left unsupervised in the vicinity of the "spool" or the enclosed patio area.
There are stairs throughout the house (there are ~5 stairs to access the home from the driveway, and inside the home there are ~3 stairs to access the bedroom wing, plus a few more to access the “spool”). Additionally, tile and concrete floors can be slippery in certain types of socks or slippers and when wet. If anyone in your group is unstable on their feet, you might consider a different property. We also do not have any baby-proofing or kid gear.
The home is pet-friendly, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome for a pet fee. Upon booking you must select the number of dogs –aka "pets"— to bring your furry friends.
We welcome dogs in our listing and strive to provide a clean environment for all our guests. Although our property undergoes professional cleaning, it's important to note that minimal traces of dog hair may still be present. We kindly advise that this rental may not be suitable for individuals who may be sensitive or bothered by such traces.
As a result of our property's location in the hills, we have strategically placed rodent and pest traps on the premises. We kindly request that dogs and children are not left unsupervised around these designated areas. In the event of any pest-related concerns, our dedicated team will promptly engage our trusted pest control company to address and resolve the issue.
To ensure the safety of the property, exterior cameras have been installed. The neighborhood is very safe, but this helps us keep an eye on the property and allows us to help you with any problems even more efficiently :) In addition, the neighborhood has 24/7 security patrol.
Our house utilizes smart technology to be able to access and use features in the house. We suggest guests feel comfortable with technology if choosing to stay at Casa Saguaro.
For any stay 7 days or more, you will be responsible for putting out and bringing in the trash cans.
A rental agreement is required for all stays. Once you book, we will send the agreement to be signed electronically through our Boarding Pass system before granting access to the property.
For enhanced security in bookings, we've implemented a two-step identity verification process. Guests are kindly asked to upload their driver's license (front and back) and take a quick selfie. We take your privacy seriously and handle your data with care, complying with all relevant privacy regulations.
Casa Saguaro is located on an acre of land in the Catalina Foothills. The property is home to lots of wildlife. Please be alert that rattlesnakes, coyotes, bobcats, javalina, scorpions, tarantulas, and other creatures live here.

Home access

**Security deposit:**
Once your reservation is confirmed, we will ask you to enter your credit card information in our Boarding Pass system for a $1,000 security deposit. This deposit is a temporary authorization and will be released after your stay if no damage is found. It may take up to 14 days for the authorization to be released, depending on your credit card company.

Other things to know

The house is equipped with exterior security cameras and a 24/7 neighborhood patrol service is present.
Please note that the garage is not accessible and that a rental contract is required for each stay. An identity check is carried out, and we ask you to upload your driver's license (front and back) with a quick selfie. Confidentiality is a priority and data is handled in compliance with regulations.

To ensure you and future guests have a pleasant stay, and hopefully not receive any surprise fees at the end of your stay, we want to be transparent about the rules for this property. Before you book our home, please make sure to read and comply with these important rules. ▪️ Any damage that occurs is your responsibility to pay. ▪️ The minimum age for renting our home is 25 years old. ▪️ The maximum number of guests in the house is 8. Excessive guests are not allowed. Any excessive number of guests will result in a $100 fee per guest per the number of nights of the reservation. ▪️ Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the house or on the property at all. Violation of this rule will result in a $1,000 charge and a charge for replacement of any items that have smoke damage. ▪️ Sending or receiving mail or packages is not allowed. ▪️ Please park in the driveway only, not on the street ▪️ Tampering with security cameras, exterior lighting, smoke alarms, or carbon monoxide detectors is strictly prohibited. ▪️ No partying of any kind is allowed inside or on the property. If a party or an event is thrown there will be a $1,000 charge and immediate termination of your reservation. ▪️ There is a noise level ordinance so please respect the community and keep noise levels to a minimum after 10 PM and before 7 AM. Violation of this rule will result in the police being called, termination of your reservation, and the security deposit retained. Let's respect the peace of the community, thank you. ▪️ Absolutely no open flames on the property including no fires in the fireplace. Violation of this rule will result in a $500 charge ▪️ No glass in or around the “spool”. If glass is found in the “spool” there is a fee of $500 for draining, removing, and refilling. Pet Rules: We are dog-friendly, and we welcome up to two well-behaved and house-trained dogs. However, pet owners are responsible and liable for any and all damage caused by their pets. Please follow these rules to ensure a comfortable stay: ▪️ Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds. ▪️ Unattended dogs must be crated for no longer than 4 hours. The host (or others acting on the host’s behalf) may enter the property if they suspect the dog is harming the property. ▪️ Prolonged barking is not allowed. ▪️ All pet waste must be immediately picked up and disposed of. If dog waste is not removed this will result in a $350 fee. ▪️ No other pets other than two dogs are allowed. Any additional pets beyond 2 dogs at the property will incur a $300 fee per pet per night. ▪️ No dogs in the “spool”. ▪️ Any dogs present on the property must be included on the reservation and pay the pet fee. Other: ▪️ Late checkout past 10 AM without our consent: $350 fee per hour, with an additional charge for any impact to the following reservations ▪️ Additional cleaning if the home is left excessively dirty: $400 fee ▪️ No crypto mining or other excessive use of utilities during the stay ▪️ The cancellation policy is available for you prior to confirming the reservation. Once the reservation has been confirmed, it is assumed you acknowledge the cancellation policy. We recommend you to purchase travel insurance to cover any losses due to cancellations. ▪️ We have normally scheduled maintenance people who do not enter the inside of the house but access the property to maintain the pool, pest control, etc. If you deny them access you will be billed the cancellation fee that they charge. If for some reason they need to enter the house to do any maintenance we will inform you.
