Guesthouse In An Agro-Forestry Farm

Rules of conduct For the good course of your stay, and that of the persons who will succeed you, we thank you in advance not to smoke inside the guesthouse and to respect the few points below. Use of the premises Take off your shoes before entering. Use of the beds : Never use the comforters and pillows without their covers. Do not hesitate to ask for an extra pillow if needed, it will be provided free of charge. Please do not eat in the room. Use of the sanitary: Ladies, it is IMPERATIVE to NEVER throw your sanitary towels and periodical tampons in the toilets, the drains and the septic tank are absolutely not intended for this use. Thank you very much for using the garbage can. Waste sorting and compost : A recycling bin is located under the kitchen sink. An explanatory leaflet concerning recyclable materials is available, please read it because we do not like to have to sort your waste in the garbage container after your departure ... Compost : it is easy to make compost. We provide you with a compost bin on the kitchen worktop. When it is full, empty it into our compost near the vegetable garden! Water : Water is life, it is precious: The water that comes out of the taps is drinkable, it comes from a well dug near the guesthouse and is offered to us by the Forest. Be reasonable when you use it because a well is not inexhaustible. Also be eco-responsible when using electrical appliances and lighting. It is not necessary to overheat all the rooms, or use all the lights. Also, when you go on a visit, please turn off the lights and turn down the heating. Thank you for using the wooden plank when preparing food. Wood stove : If you are not familiar with wood stoves, please be careful! Ask us for a hand. There is a fire extinguisher near the bathroom door. Cleaning your laundry : It is possible to wash and dry your laundry on request. 20$ per laundry basket. Life on the farm : The farm is a wonderful place of discovery for children but also a place full of danger. For their safety, never let your young children walk near the animals without supervision. For cohabitation with the herd and our dogs, pets are not allowed. In the dry season, fire hazards are present everywhere. It is absolutely forbidden to light a fire anywhere on and around the property. Concerning noise : The first and most important rule is that of common sense regarding respect for others. Rest and tranquility are a priority. Avoid excessive noise or any other nuisance, especially in the evening. If you need anything, we are your only neighbors, come and meet us. We don't have a cell phone, so there is no need to contact us by phone or text message. Before leaving : The following points are to be respected imperatively in order to put the guesthouse back in the state in which you found it : - fridge and freezer emptied and cleaned. - electric plates and oven cleaned. - crockery cleaned. - coffee machine and barbecue emptied and cleaned. - dustbin emptied and cleaned. - compost garbage can emptied and cleaned. - Beds: sheets and comforter covers removed, folded and put on the beds. - bathroom: trash can emptied, used towels bundled. - toilet: trash can emptied, toilet bowl cleaned - general cleaning: vacuumed floor (a vacuum cleaner is at your disposal) -Fill the wood storage if necessary. In all cases, the immediate surroundings are put back in order, do not leave cigarettes, papers... We are aware that it is not very pleasant to be told what seems obvious to the good maintenance of a place of life, unfortunately by experience we know that it is far too often necessary to remind it. We simply ask you to manage the guesthouse ''as a good family man'', an outdated expression nowadays but which we find pretty. If these requests make you uncomfortable, it is preferable not to book with us. We wish you a very pleasant stay and invite you, if you wish, to leave a message in our guestbook. Arrival and departure: 4 PM and 10 AM (to allow time to prepare the house for the nextguests). Damages: Any breakages, for which you are responsible, will be charged as extra.
