Tiny-house On 20 Acres Ecoresponsible Land

A 30'x7' (feet), situated on the edge of the forest with electricity and decorated with traditional objects from Quebec's first nations, our mini-museum! A spacious tiny-house in an open space where you can see the stars and the milky-way at night!

The tiny-house is at a 1 minute walk from the parking lot of the office building. You will be able to transport your luggage in a small cart (sled in winter) on our marked trails in the forest. Our site is located in the heart of the first International Dark Sky Reserve (!) and the forest trails are not lit after dark.

A lodging in nature with all the necessary amenities for your stay designed to be ecologically sustainable and coherent with the environment.

Arrival is between 3pm and 8pm and the office closes at 8pm. Fees may be charged for late arrivals after 8pm.

We will be present on site throughout your stay. Upon your arrival we will take some time with you to explain the functioning of our site and your accommodation.

From November through May, we can preheat your yurt at your request. Please let us know in advance so that we can start a good fire for you!

Included: wood stove, fire starters, drinking water container, full kitchen, electricity, gas stove, propane, mini-oven, toaster, boiler, full size refrigerator, dishes, kitchenware, cookware, double bed at the mezzanine, composting toilet, private outdoor fireplace, hot shower in forest 3 seasons and at the office in winter (8am to 8pm), a common campfire site with firewood, access to the trails and creek and the "Encounter with forest-spirit" audio experience (35min duration ending with drumming and flute).

What to bring: personal belongings, towel, pillows, bedding, sleeping bag (or blanket), biodegradable soap, food, condiments, flashlight or headlamp, mosquito repellent (summer), bathing suit if you opt for the sauna in the passive solar greenhouse or for the brook in summer!

Accommodation tax (3.5%) GST (5%) and QST (9.975%) are calculated and charged directly by WeChalet (visible in the detail of your booking amounts).

We offer lodging in yurts, tiny-houses, cabins, tents and hammock tents located near the picturesque village of Piopolis, bordered by Lake Megantic and surrounded by the highest mountains in southern Quebec. As a couple, by yourself or with friends, a resourcing experience awaits you all year round in the heart of nature!

We are located in Piopolis, 20 minutes from the Mont-Mégantic national park, Mont Gosford and the Baie-des-Sables tourist station. The village center of Piopolis is 1.5 km away.
